Day 50: Teaching and Living God’s Word

Biblical Principle
God’s instructions to His people have always been consistent: learn His Word, live by it, and teach it to others. The Old and New Testaments emphasize this truth, reflecting the eternal nature of God’s will.

In Exodus 24:12, we see God giving Moses clear instructions:
“And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.”
Here, God gave Moses the law and directed him to teach it to the people. This highlights the importance of passing down God’s instructions and ensuring His truth is shared with others.

The same principle is echoed in Jesus’ Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20:
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Jesus commands us to spread His Word, teach others about His truth, and guide them toward obedience. This responsibility isn’t limited to a select few—it’s a call to all believers.

4. Trust in God’s Work:
   Salvation is the Lord’s work, not ours. As we teach and share the gospel, relying on the Holy Spirit to convict and transform hearts is essential. Our role is to share the truth faithfully; the results are in God’s hands.

5. Commit to Lifelong Obedience:
   The call to teach and live out God’s Word is not a one-time task—it’s a lifelong mission. Whether teaching children, leading a small group, or encouraging a neighbor, remember that obedience to God’s Word is ongoing.
